Pricing questions
What counts as an application?
Every application in your portfolio that isn't in an archived lifecycle status. Move an application to an archived status, such as Retired, and it stays in APM+ with its full history but no longer counts towards your limit. Logical applications, capabilities, vendors, contacts and users are never counted.
What happens if I go over my limit?
Once you reach your plan's limit you can't add more applications until you upgrade, or archive or delete some. If an import would take you over, we import rows up to your limit and then show you exactly how many rows were held back and which plan would cover them — nothing is silently dropped. If you move to a plan below your current count, nothing is deleted or hidden: the applications above the new limit become read-only, with a banner showing how many you're over, until you archive or delete some or upgrade again.
Can I change plans mid-term?
Yes. Upgrade from Free whenever you're ready, and switch between Starter and the Professional bands, or between monthly and annual billing, at any time from your account. Changes are prorated. Your billing currency is set when you first subscribe and stays the same for the life of the subscription.
Do you really not charge per user?
Really. Every plan, including Free, has unlimited users. Invite your application owners, architects and finance team without counting licences — you pay for the size of the portfolio you manage, nothing else.
Is GST included?
No. Prices are shown excluding GST and other sales taxes. Tax is calculated at checkout from your billing address, and business customers can add a VAT or GST number so reverse charge applies where it's available.
What's in Enterprise that I can't get otherwise?
No application limit, SAML single sign-on and SCIM provisioning, advanced role-based access control, custom dashboards, an SLA with a named customer success contact, and white-glove onboarding. Google and Microsoft sign-in aren't Enterprise extras — they're included on every plan, Free included.
